Here are some squared close-ups of the Prince himself, and his bed companion!
I did a LOT of green-stuff work on the Prince, milliput was also used a bit before I kept having issues with it not curing correctly. Green stuff is annoying to work with (evil green bubble gum) but it’s a lot more forgiving in the curing aspect. Everything not on the prince, I began creating with polyclay because it was much easier and faster to do in layers.
The Prince’s colour palette was driven by some of my favourite colours, (the stormy blues of his armour, the cool purples of his skin) and further inspiration pulled from around me (the fleshy bits of his skin by @maharunn
etc <3 ) The base is deliberately greyscale and inspired by an incredible suggestion by @shoshiesminis
. The wood planks, I learned from @thebugking1
in a very generous tutorial on stream. :) The last picture is an example of the figure before priming, after, and completed, so that you can see a glimpse of how much mod-work I ended up doing. I also used a dremel to carve bits away, such as adjusting the eyebrow shape, so not everything would be super obvious.
Thank you for looking, I hope you enjoyed all the little details! <3
