Today marks 6 months since I packed up my camera bag and moved to Nashville permanently. 🎉
This has been the weirdest, most challenging yet exhilarating experiences. I had my first photo published in a newspaper, photographed an EP release, covered an artist’s CRS and slowly built a clientele out of friendships. I enjoy my job. I appreciate everyone that has taken a chance on me. I can’t wait for what the next six months bring now that Nashville is reopened for the most part. .
It’s fitting that I saw @hannahgreyellis
play on this celebratory day as Hannah was one of the first people in the industry to tell me to keep chasing it. I’m leaps and bounds better than I was last April when I met her in Lexington. I’m leaps and bounds better than I was when I came down back in November. Keep chasing those dreams, folks. You won’t regret it. 🗣
Also, if your wondering why 6 months matters to me — I’m about celebrating the small victories. And quite honestly, I was scared to death moving here. I believed I’d be back in Ohio by now with my tail tucked. I’m not. 🤷🏻♀️
